Spotted Sandpiper
I'm a big fan of getting my beads and pendants at Beadniks in the Mall of America. Justin and I live 10 minutes from the MOA, and I treat it as my go-to mall. It's not something special to me, like it was when I was little. I think before I moved to Minnesota I had been to the MOA maybe 3 times. Now I'm there at least once a week. I think it's great frustrating when people stop and disrupt mall "traffic" to get a picture of the American Girl Store or even the Build a Bear Workshop.
The pieces of this necklace comes from Beadniks, the pendant and bead caps are actually a local Minnesota artist. I wrote his name down on the receipt, but do you think I could find that piece of paper anywhere?!?!

I'm originally from Minnesota and I remember all the excitement when the MOA was built. And as a local, it's very easy to get annoyed with all the tourists! I didn't realize there was a bead store there now, although I haven't been there in years.
